HOW WE GOT HERE

In the late 1950s, Marilyn starred in Some Like It Hot, Jimi Hendrix played his very first gig, and the Galla Villa Motel opened its doors. JFK would soon become president but somehow, at the desert’s doorstep, time stood still. The Galla Villa Motel was the epitome of mid-century design—a sanctuary for the stars and a precursor of our boutique oasis.
